Vegan Christmas – Matcha Cashew Mylk (Raw, Vegan, Gluten-free, Refined Sugar-free)

Christmas is all about red and green! When it comes to green, how can I not mention my favorite Matcha Maiden? And what’s better than having a cup of comforting matcha cashew mylk, especially when it’s so easy to make, as well as beneficial to you? The numerous benefits of matcha, such as super high in anti-oxidants, increases energy level and enhances mood, are needless to say. This recipe is so simple and fool-proof that everyone can make at home if they have a blender. If you want, you can also warm it a bit, have it alone during a party or pour over some granola a nutritious breakfast!

Ingredients:

1 cup raw organic cashew nuts, soaked overnight
2 pitted dates
2 tsp Matcha Maiden matcha powder
1 tsp cinnamon
3 cups water
You will also need a nut milk bag to strain the milk

Directions:

1. Soaking the cashew nuts overnight they will be super soft and swollen.
2. Rinse under more water and add into your blender along with the rest
of the ingredients. Once smooth strain the ingredients through the nut bag
into a bottle or jar.
3. It will keep in the fridge for 3-4 days.
