I created this recipe because my friend wanted some healthy vegan ice-cream on a hot summer day. However, she doesn’t have an ice-cream machine (me neither), and she doesn’t really like bananas (I know, she’s weird right LOL). Moreover, the other day when I was doing my usual grocery shopping at a local wet market, I saw some super ripe pears selling at a very good price. Hence, I just bought those pears and freeze them in the fridge until hardened and created this refreshing nice cream bowl for her π
Matcha is full of antioxidants (up to 137x that of regular green tea!) which can help our skin glow. It also enhances calm, boosts memory and concentration, as well as increases energy level and endurance. Therefore, everyone should start incorporating matcha in their diet βΊοΈπ΅
Ingredients:
Matcha:
2 frozen pears
1 tsp Matcha Maiden matcha powder
1 tsp Big Tree Farms coconut nectar
1/4 cup almond milk
Cacao:
1 frozen pear (ripe)
1 frozen papaya (ripe) (or sub banana or mango)
1 Tbsp Big Tree Farms raw cacao powder
1 Tbsp hemp protein powder
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
Toppings:
Raw cacao nibs
Cherries
Plum
Pomegranate seeds
Apricot
Directions:
For each layer, place everything into the Vitamix and blend until smooth. Place them into a bowl as shown and top with your favorite toppings and devour! π
