Morning Green Smoothie (Raw, Vegan, Gluten-free)

This is my favorite smoothie that I have it nearly every morning. It is a great way to enjoy your greens, especially if you know that you are heading out for the day and won’t be able to have as much greens as you need. Also, don’t be deceived by the green colour of this smoothie, the “green” taste of this smoothie ins’t really that intense thanks to the green apples and lemon. If you really hate the taste of greens, you can also add some dates to make this sweeter and more enjoyable.

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients:

1 cup water
2 cups greens (I used kale and baby spinach)
1 pear
1 green apple
1 banana
2 stalks celery
1/2 cucumber
1 lime
2 Organic Burst chlorella tablets
Handful of parsley
Toppings of your choice (I ususally use raw cacao nibs, goji berries, inca berries, chia seeds, bee pollens, fruits, rawnolas and homemade coconut almond yogurt 😃)

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into Vitamix and blend until smooth.
  2. Top it with your favorite toppings and make it look pretty 💜
  3. Enjoy your breakfast fuel 🙌🏻
