Why I Created This Recipe?
For those who love cooking, budget supermarkets are definitely a bliss to them. The other day when I was visiting a local budget store, I accidentally discovered this jar of vegan nutella from Rigoni. Given that the price is super reasonably and vegan groceries are usually expensive here, I bought it without a doubt. While I was preparing my usual chocolate tofu mousse for breakfast, I was feeling adventurous and crave something fancy. So I twisted my staple recipe a bit to create this heavenly Vegan Nutella Mousse!

Creamy, Chocolate-y & Nutty – What’s Not To Love?
This nutella mousse is everything you would love for dessert. At the same time, it’s healthy enough to have for breakfast!🙌 Traditional mousse contains butter and egg, making it not suitable for vegans. But don’t be discouraged, today I’m sharing with you a fool-proof easy one-bowl vegan nutella mousse recipe that will change your life!😜
This recipe is so simple that the 4 main ingredients, tofu, nutella, cacao powder and hazelnuts, are easy to find and affordable. Tofu gives the mousse a creamy texture without making it too heavy. Obviously, given the name of this recipe, nutella has to be one of the ingredient in the mousse. And since nutella is already on the sweet side, you can omit any forms of sweetener. But of course, you can always adjust the ingredients according to your own liking. Cacao powder and hazelnuts provide a more intense nutella flavor to the mousse.

This vegan nutella mousse is a definitely a crowd-pleaser!
Vegan Nutella Mousse (One-bowl)
1 package of silken tofu (around 250g)
“Aquafaba” from the package of tofu (or substitute with 1/3 cup plant milk)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup vegan nutella
1/4 cup hazelnuts
1/2 Tbsp psyllium husk
1 Tbsp agave syrup (optional)
2 Tbsp raw cacao powder
- Place everything in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture in an air-tight container and let it chill in the fridge until it thickens (around 2-3 hours).
- You can store it in the fridge for 3-4 days.
