Red Pitaya Green Smoothie Bowl (Raw, Vegan, Gluten-free)

Dragon fruit (or pitaya) is one of my favorite fruits on earth. Do you know pitaya is super nutritious and good for our health? First of all, it isa great source of anti-oxidants that helps removing negative substances in your body, hence aids in detoxing. Also, it consists mainly of fibres that can prevent your body from sugar spikes. Moreover, it contains lots of useful and important vitamins and minerals to our body such as vitamin C, B1, B2 and B3, calcium, protein and iron. Apart from eating pitaya directly, sometimes I like to add them to my morning green smoothies ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Ingredients:

1 small red pitaya
2 cups baby spinach
2 Tbsp raw vegan protein powder
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1 small banana or 1/2 large one
1/2 cup coconut water
1 tsp Organic Burst Baobab powder

Direction:

Place everything in a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
Top with toppings of your own choice and enjoy this wholesome smoothie bowl as breakfast or post-workout meal ๐Ÿ˜š
