Guava is now in season! So the other day I bought a bunch of these and freeze them for a refreshing guava nice cream. Guava has so many health benefits and it is especially important in the flu season as it contains 4 times of the vitamin C than oranges, which can help boosting our immune system. Also, the high amount of antioxidants in guava protect our skins from wrinkles. The amount of vitamin A in guava improves our vision too! Therefore, making this guava nice cream is definitely worth trying, especially with the addition of wheatgrass powder from Organic Burst. The chlorophyll contained in the wheatgrass powder aids in alkalising our body, hence purifying and removing toxins.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 frozen guava chunks
1 cup frozen banana
1/2 cup coconut water or unsweetened almond milk for a creamier texture
1 tsp Organic Burst wheatgrass powder
Toppings:
1 tsp hazelnut butter
1/2 custard apple
1 raw chocolate grapefruit truffle (recipe here)
Directions:
Place everything in the blender and blend until smooth. Top with your choice of toppings and devour 😋
