Chocolate Peppermint Cups (Raw, Vegan, Gluten-free)

The instructions of this chocolate peppermint cups recipe may seem a bit complicated but in fact these are so easy to make and requires only 30 minutes. Most importantly, they look so cute that it’s perfect to make it as a treat for your friends! πŸ’šπŸ«

Ingredients:

Chocolate:

3 tbsp coconut oil
1 1/2 tbsp raw cacao powder
1/2 tbsp carob powder
1 tbsp maple syrup
A pinch of sea salt

Peppermint part:

3 tbsp coconut butter
1 tbsp maple syrup
5 drops peppermint essential oil
1/4 tsp Organic Burst wheatgrass powder

Directions:

Peppermint filling

  1. Place coconut butter in a bowl immersed in some warm water until it melts
  2. Stir in other ingredients and mix well
  3. Place the peppermint mixture into some tiny silicon cupcake moulds and place them into the freezer until they set

Chocolate

  1. Mix the ingredients well
  2. Cover the hardened peppermint part with a thin layer of chocolate mixture
  3. Return the cups into the freezer until the chocolate layers hardened
  4. Dip the bottom and the sides of the cups into the remaining chocolate mixture and return to the freezer until the whole cups become solid
