These vegan hemp protein bars are one of my favorite recipes, they are good as snacks, pre- or post-workout. I also love making a bunch of them and bring them with me when I travel. They freeze well too! So you can make more in one go and freeze them as a frozen treat for later! Plus they are so easy to make!
Ingredients:
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup shredded coconut
1 1/3 cup juicy dates, pitted
6 tbsp hemp protein powder
3 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp dried goji berries
1 tsp pure vanilla
1 tsp Spirulina powder
1 tbsp Maca powder
1/2 cup water
Directions:
- Add the dates and nuts into a food processor until a dough-like mixture is formed
- Then add all other ingredients except water and continue to process
- Add water bit by bit until desired consistency is achieved
- Press the mixture to a bread tin lined with baking sheets and place it in the freezer for at least half an hour
- Take it out from the freezer and cut it into bars
- Enjoy 💕
